Audience Consensus
The ONA serves as a brief introduction to the game Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, but it is generally considered disappointing. It is recommended only for those planning to play the game as a spoiler-free introduction or as a refresher. The animation quality is poor, and it doesn't capture the essence of the game's compelling story and characters.
Strengths
- Good introduction to the game for newcomers.
- Uses the same voice actors and music as the game.
Weaknesses
- Poor animation quality.
- Rushes through character interactions and plot elements.
- Doesn't offer much for those who have played the game.
- Fails to intrigue, inform, or entertain.
- Characters lack personality and dialogue is mostly exposition.
