Cosplay Complex
Synopsis
Every cosplay club in Japan shares the same dream: to take first place at the Cosplay World Series. East Oizumi Academy's club is no different; led by Gorou Yorozuyo, the club's members spend every moment training and preparing for competitions. Still, even with ace cosplayer Chako Hasegawa and the shape-shifting powers of the fairy Delmo on their side, the club must work hard if they want to become the best in Japan. Audience Consensus
Audience opinions are mixed. Some find it a funny and light-hearted parody of otaku culture and cosplay, appreciating the character designs and animation for its time. Others find it falls short due to a weak story, basic characters, poor voice acting and humor that doesn't always land. Most agree it's a short, easily digestible show that doesn't require deep thinking.
Strengths
- Good set of characters for comedy

Weaknesses
- Story ends abruptly, with a cliffhanger
- Basic characters, nothing special
- Music is almost non-existent
- Voice work is amateurish (dub)
- Humor can fall flat; feels like it's trying too hard
