Synopsis

Mitsuki Ikuta works for the Houchiku Corporation, making movies. To all who know her, she is perceived as being a very infantile woman, still wearing childish fashions. A fan of the detective movie genre, she suddenly finds herself chosen to be the main producer of a new film—but it's a "hero movie" (a genre generally considered childish). Determined to succeed, regardless, she takes on the job. (Source: ANN)

Audience Consensus

The anime is viewed as a mediocre and dated work, primarily carried by its main character and its satirical portrayal of anime production. However, it is largely overshadowed by excessive fanservice and a lack of compelling elements. Viewers find it a passable, albeit unmemorable, experience.

Strengths

  • Sympathetic main character (Ikuta) with positive character development.
  • Offers an inside look into the chaotic production process of anime.
  • Pleasant and easy to watch.

Weaknesses

  • Excessive and unnecessary fanservice, including panty shots.
  • Dated humor and juvenile attempts at comedy.
  • Generic and clichéd characters with little depth (besides Ikuta).
  • Bland music and average artwork.
