Audience Consensus
Audience sentiment is divided, with strong appreciation for the visual spectacle and emotional payoff for dedicated fans, countered by significant criticism of the plot's originality and pacing. While the action and music are praised, the reliance on recap and weak narrative structure leave some viewers feeling it's mediocre filler.
Strengths
- Visually stunning animation, especially for the Hissatsu techniques.
- Great music and voice acting that fits the characters well.
- The climax is intense and satisfying for fans.
- The ending montage celebrating the journey is emotionally resonant.
Weaknesses
- The plot is weak, repetitive, and unoriginal, relying heavily on recapped content.
- Character development is lacking, with many new characters being unappealing or one-note.
- Power scaling is inconsistent and illogical, with techniques appearing prematurely or being overpowered.
- The pacing is poor, with events happening arbitrarily rather than organically.
