Audience Consensus

Audience reception is mixed, with the sequel 'Katsu!!' generally seen as an improvement over the first season. While some appreciate the ecchi and harem elements alongside the animation and music quality, many are critical of the weak plot, shallow characters, and disappointing ending. The series is considered average overall, mainly suitable for fans of the ecchi genre who don't mind a lack of substantial narrative depth.

  • Weak or non-existent character development for main characters (Ikkou and Chitose)
  • Episodic storyline with repetitive jokes
  • Unsatisfying ending that negates previous character growth
  • Ecchi scenes that don't contribute much to the story
