Synopsis — from MyAnimeList
"Kusano's first errand" - A ten minute OVA that came along with the 6th vol. limited edition of Sekirei. Kusano finally tires of nobody admitting her as Sahashi's potential wife, so she insists on joining Musubi and Tsukiumi on their shopping race to show her abilities. An iffy day ensues.
Audience Consensus
Audience reception is moderately divided, primarily around the character focus and perceived story relevance. While many enjoyed the OVA for its cute characters and lighthearted comedy, others found its plot weak and the focus on a specific character unappealing. It's seen as a fun, non-essential addition for fans of the main series, particularly those who like Kusano.
Strengths
- Kusano's cuteness and character focus are highlighted.
- The characters' sweetness and friendships are well-portrayed.
- Sound and music are consistently great and fitting.
- Enjoyable and harmless comedy with fun little moments.
Weaknesses
- Art quality is perceived as lacking, with characters drawn quickly and Kusano not looking her best.
- The OVA doesn't significantly advance the main plot or build excitement for the next season.
- Some viewers find the focus on the 'loli sister' character unappealing or a waste of time.
- The story is considered pretty dumb by some, with the OVA not being essential to the main narrative.
