Synopsis — from MyAnimeList
A summary of season one of Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken with some extra content leading into season two.
Audience Consensus
The audience largely agrees that this episode is a competent, if uninspired, recap of the first season. While some appreciate its function as a refresher, many criticize its misleading title, lack of new content, and overall necessity, especially when compared to more creative recap efforts.
Strengths
- Does its job well as a refresher for those who haven't seen season 1 recently.
- Art, sound, and characters are still amazing (as they were in season 1).
- Well-paced and refreshing for a recap episode.
- Saves time and engagement for binge-watchers by summarizing major plot points.
Weaknesses
- Offers no new story or character development.
- Misleading title; the episode is not centered on Hinata Sakaguchi.
- Unnecessary, as viewers of season 2 are expected to have seen season 1.
- Less creative and lacking the charm of previous recap episodes (e.g., Veldora Nikki).
