Synopsis
Layla is going to perform Phoenix in Broadway. Playing this important role, she sets out on a journey by bicycle alone without leaving any message in order to find out what she's missing inside.
Audience Consensus
Audience reception is mixed. Some viewers find the OVA a beautiful and emotionally resonant exploration of Layla's character and her relationship with Sora. Others are disappointed by Sora's excessive involvement, Layla's perceived inconsistent character development, and the reliance on shoujo tropes. Ultimately, enjoyment depends on one's tolerance for shoujo storytelling and preference for Sora.
Strengths
- Beautiful animation and color palette, improved over the original series.
- Moving exploration of Layla's character and her relationship with Sora.

Weaknesses
- Sora's prominence overshadows Layla, despite Layla being the focus.
- Layla's character development feels inconsistent and nonsensical.
- Plot relies on shoujo tropes and lacks depth; Contrived philosophical self-discovery journey.
