Audience Consensus
Himote House is a divisive show with a focus on absurdist humor and improv. While the low-quality CGI and weak initial premise are major turn-offs for some, others find enjoyment in the unscripted segments, the voice actors' enthusiasm, and the relaxing music. The show's reliance on ad-libbing and character-driven comedy makes it a unique but flawed experience.
Strengths
- Enjoyable improv/ad-lib sections that feel like a podcast
- Voice actors having fun and bringing life to the characters, especially in unscripted segments
- Unique premise of voice actors ad-libbing in character
- Relaxing and enjoyable music, especially the ending theme
Weaknesses
- Low quality CGI animation that is jarring and unappealing
- Weak initial premise and chaotic setup for comedic moments
- Some episodes are lacking and boring
- Annoying voice acting for one of the characters (Tokiyo)
