Synopsis — from MyAnimeList

During a physical exam, Miia, Centorea, and Mero discover that they have gained too much weight due to Kimihito Kurusu's delicious cooking. To remedy this, Polt offers them first use of her new pool and gym facility before its grand opening. However, it's not all fun and games, as the three girls' competitive spirits start to flare up! Meanwhile, when Rachnera Arachnera receives a letter from her previous host family, she finds out that they would like to meet with her and apologize for the events that caused her transfer. But, as it turns out, not only do they want to apologize, they want her back as well! When the family's daughter, Ren Kunanzuki, shows up at the front door, the gang must convince her to let Rachnera stay at Kimihito's house.

Audience Consensus

The OVAs are seen as purely for fanservice and light comedy, delivering exactly what fans of the main series would expect. While some appreciate the honest approach to ecchi and comedy, others find the lack of narrative depth and character development makes the episodes forgettable and ultimately empty, leading to a divided reception.

Strengths

  • Consistent art and sound quality with the main series.
  • Voice acting effectively carries the comedy.
  • Offers enjoyable short, light-hearted content for fans of the series.
  • Fanservice is delivered effectively and matches the main series' tone.

Weaknesses

  • Adds nothing significant to the overall story or character development.
  • Narrative is extremely thin, bordering on non-existent.
  • Relies heavily on fanservice, which can feel empty to some viewers.
  • Can be forgettable due to its lack of substance beyond ecchi.
