Synopsis

The qualifiers of the Autumn Elections are now over, and only eight talented chefs remain. Now, they face off in one-on-one food wars, each with their own unique themes. Met with both new judges and new opponents all with their own specialties, Souma must stay on his toes if he hopes to make it to the top of both the Autumn Elections and Tootsuki Culinary Academy. Audience Consensus

The second season is generally well-received, maintaining the entertainment value of the first. However, some viewers found the pacing rushed and the story less compelling. The series continues to be praised for its animation and character development, although the ecchi elements remain a point of contention for some.

Strengths

  • Consistent entertainment and hype
  • Great animation and detailed food visuals
  • Strong character development, especially for Souma

Weaknesses

  • Fast pacing and skipped content from the manga
  • Inconsistent story quality compared to the first season
