Audience Consensus
The audience seems to appreciate the comedic relief provided by these specials, finding them a fun and enjoyable addition that breaks up the darkness of the main series. While the shorts themselves are noted as being somewhat cheaply produced and not groundbreaking in their humor, they successfully leverage the established quality of the main anime's visuals and voice acting to deliver a light-hearted experience.
Strengths
- The comedic shorts provide a refreshing light-hearted contrast to the dark and gritty main series.
- The visual quality of the original Battle in Nagoya is high, which carries over to the shorts.
- Features performances from talented and enjoyable voice actors.
Weaknesses
- The shorts are cheaply made and reuse animation shots from the main series.
- The comedic gags are considered just 'good enough' and not particularly memorable.
