Audience Consensus
The audience generally agrees that Ple Ple Pleiades is a fun, comedic side-story that successfully develops the Pleiades maids and offers lighthearted entertainment. While its lack of a serious plot and chibi art style might not appeal to everyone, fans of Overlord who enjoy comedy are highly recommended to watch it.
Strengths
- Provides enjoyable comedic value and character development for secondary characters not featured in the main series.
- Seiyuu performances are excellent, elevating the material.
- Cute and silly art style (chibi/deformed) is fitting for the comedic tone.
- Offers a lighthearted and funny side story for fans of the main Overlord series.
Weaknesses
- Has no significant story or plot, serving solely as an excuse for comedy and character introductions.
- May not appeal to those who dislike comedy, hyper-kawaii scenarios, or chibi art styles.
- Short episode length can make it feel like episodes end before they begin.
