Synopsis

Riding off their success in La Vuelta, Pepe Benengeli and the rest of the Pao Pao Beer team prepare to take on a newly established cycling race in Japan. However, when they receive the news that team member Jean-Louis Chochi's former mentor has died by suicide, their plans are suddenly shrouded in doubt. Struggling with their personal feelings on top of the challenges presented by the new course, the team wonders whether they still have the strength to pedal on. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
