Margaret Hart is a young woman who dreams of becoming a sheriff in the American West following the Civil War. After being taken hostage, Margaret teams up with the other captive women to fight back against the outlaws.
Audience Consensus
Early Reins is viewed as a simple but fun action anime with a unique Western setting and a cast of female characters. However, it suffers from underdeveloped characters, a weak plot, and dated animation. Most agree that it had potential but ultimately falls short due to its short runtime and lack of further development.
Strengths
- Unique setting for anime
- Fun action sequences
- Distinct female characters
Weaknesses
- Underdeveloped characters
- Weak plot twists
- Dated animation
- Poor English dub
