Natsume’s Book of Friends: Nyanko-Sensei and the First Errand
Synopsis — from MyAnimeList
Madara, nicknamed "Nyanko-sensei," runs into two young children when he gets separated from his temporary owner Takashi Natsume. Unequipped to handle kids, Nyanko-sensei tries to wriggle his way out; but fearing for their safety around the ravenous forest youkai, he decides to escort the siblings to safety. However, even for an all-powerful youkai such as Nyanko-sensei, dealing with the playful and overly curious nature of children can prove to be an exhausting challenge.
Audience Consensus
Audience reception is mixed, with many finding the children annoying and the episode lacking the charm of the main series. While some appreciate the cute moments and Nyanko-sensei's softer side, others found it repetitive, childish, and a significant drop in quality. The OVA is considered skippable by some, while others see it as a lighthearted diversion.
