Audience Consensus
The Di Gi Charat Tsuyu Specials are a generally watchable but weaker continuation of the original series. While the animation is technically better, the humor and pacing suffer from the extended episode length. The audience seems to agree that it's only worth watching for die-hard fans of the original who want more Di Gi Charat content, but shouldn't expect the same level of quality.
Strengths
- More Di Gi Charat content
- Improved animation quality compared to the original
Weaknesses
- Lacks the unpredictable nature of the original series
- Episodes feel dragged out due to longer runtime
- Jokes are not as good as the original
