Audience Consensus
Audience views 'Oshaberi Shiyokka' as a nine-minute filler special that's fun for fans seeking lighthearted humor and character interactions. While some appreciate its comedic value and meta-commentary, others criticize its lack of substance, budget animation, and failure as a recap, deeming it skippable even for completionists.
Strengths
- Funny character interactions and humor despite its filler nature
- Provides a lighthearted break with comedic side activities for characters
- Appreciated for original content, even if non-canonical
Weaknesses
- Obvious filler episode with little narrative substance
- Significant budget-saving measures evident in animation, relying on stills and dialogue
- Fails as a comprehensive recap, only covering a fraction of season one
- Jokes and character humor have been done before
- Poor taste to make fans something so lame, even for completionists
