Audience Consensus
Audience sentiment is largely negative, particularly concerning Aichi's character and the plot's predictability. Some appreciate Ren's comedic relief, but overall, the season is considered a step down from the first. Reviewers highlight issues with forced plot progression, unlikeable new characters, and a repetitive storyline.
Strengths
- Enjoyable tourist attraction portrayal.
- Ren's character development and goofy personality.
Weaknesses
- Aichi's character regresses and becomes a 'goody-goody' with no development.
- Fights feel forced and rely on luck rather than tactics.
- New characters are unlikeable and arrogant.
- Story repeats the 'jobbing' trope from the first season.
