Audience Consensus

Audience reception is strongly divided. Many find it terrible when viewed in isolation, citing a nonsensical plot and unlikable characters. However, some appreciate it as part of the m.o.e. trilogy, viewing its flaws as intentional and part of a meta-commentary on anime production. This meta-appreciation gives it a niche appeal despite its shortcomings.

Strengths

  • Unique concept within the m.o.e. trilogy.
  • Soundtrack and sound effects reminiscent of classic mecha anime.
  • Animation is well done, especially during action scenes.

Weaknesses

  • Incoherent plot and poorly introduced storyline.
  • Characters are flat, boring archetypes with little development.
  • Story feels rushed with poor camera work and amateurish acting.
